Very rare antique Ingo Bike produced by Ingersoll Steel in the mid 1930s. The bike is in As-Is condition. In need of some love and restoration. The kickstand is rusty but functional, I did not force it. The tires were replaced decades ago and are flat, the rear wheel may not be original but I am not sure, please view the photos. It is missing the fenders and fender struts, the grips and brakes. It comes with a replacement board and original front wheel, not attached.
Please ask any questions, I am happy to answer them to the best of my ability and provide more photos. Local pickup is preferred however, please contact me if you are interested in hiring a third party shipper. All packaging and shipping is to be arranged by the seller through communication and agreement with me.
"An Ingo-bike is a vehicle similar to a kick scooter, with a large rear wheel. Invented in 1934 by the Huyssen brothers and called the 'Exercycle', then produced by Ingersoll-Rand Corporation from 1934-1937, under the name 'Ingo-bike'. A group of Ingo-bikers in the late 1930s traveled from Chicago to Miami in 30 days."
